Beliefs of Connections Presbyterian Church

We believe that God created us for a relationship with Him and with one another.  Today, finding out who He is can be confusing.  We want to have a conversation with you about God and His Son, Jesus.

We also want to help you grow in your relationship with others.  That can be hard in our society.  Every day, we become more and more insulated from one another.  We weren’t created to be islands, and church should be the place we do something about it.

We believe that Church is not a place or a program, but people—God’s people, working together to build each other up as they grow together in their love for God and one another.  We believe that we should learn and serve together throughout the week.  To do that we have studies, youth gatherings and times of service to others on a regular basis.

On Sunday, we believe in “Churching”.  We gather together for conversation, worship and often eating together.  Our goal is to make Sunday a day where we relax and enjoy one another and God.

For another look at what we believe and who we are, take a look at Pastor Bob's blog, the bulletin, or information about the Associate Reform Presbyterian Church.

Ministries

In addition to our studies, we are intentionally outreach-oriented in our ministries, which include the following:

a church plant (Riverside Presbyterian Church ARP) in Prattville, AL

·         a new Korean Church plant (Hamnaun Chapel ARP) in Madison

·         monthly church service for the residents of Dublin Village in Madison

·         a semi-monthly outdoor movie night in neighborhoods in Madison

As we grow, our desire is to be an asset to our Community, involving ourselves in ministries to those who need us most.
